Celebrating 65 years of Rhode Island Community Theater!
Academy Players of Rhode Island has been a second home to me for more years than I can count. The community outreach that they contribute to year after year is absolutely astounding and I am proud to be a part of that. Following in “Mama Rita’s” footsteps, I am honored to have been nominated as a candidate for the Man and Woman of the Year” campaign through the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Over the next several weeks, I am hopeful to raise $50,000 that will go in its entirety to fund a research portfolio in memory of Patrick Cooney, the son of one of my first drama teachers.
I cannot thank Academy Players, the Maron Family and Academy friends enough for partnering with me in finding ways to fight for a cure! Donations can be made directly through my link https://pages.lls.org/mwoy/neri/ri21/afontaine or using the QR code found on this page. Many fundraisers will be occurring leading up to the MWOY Finale on May 20th! I do hope you’ll consider donating or attending an event!Academy truly Is “home” and I am honored to be a part of their family.
