Dates: January 18th 2026 in the James and Gloria Maron Cultural Arts Center Act 2 on the 6/10 theater. - Next door to the Academy Players of RI.
Ages: This production is for all ages.
What to Prepare: Please prepare a 1 minute selection of a song from the show that best showcases your voice. There will not be an accompanist so please use a YouTube karaoke track. All auditions must be fully memorized and cannot be sung a capella.
Rehearsals: Mondays and Wednesdays starting in February.
Show Dates: May 7-17, 2026
If you can't make the audition: If you have a conflict or can't make the audition date, video submissions are accepted at academyplayersri@gmail.com.
Dates: Tuesday, March 3 or Thursday March 5th. Please pick one (1) day to audition. If needed, callbacks (invite only) will be on Saturday, March 7th.
Ages: This production is for performers age 11-17.
What to Prepare: Please prepare 32 bars (or about 1 minute) of a song from the show (preferred) or in the style of the show that best showcases your voice. There will not be an accompanist so please use a YouTube karaoke track. All auditions must be fully memorized and cannot be sung a capella.
Rehearsals: We will have our informational meeting and read through on Monday, March 30th. Rehearsals will be held on Monday and Wednesday evenings from 6-9:30pm beginning April 6th.
Participation Fee: There is a $100 participation fee (if cast) for this production. Payment plans are available!
