ALICE BY HEART auditions

Please prepare 16-32 bars of a song from Alice by Heart. If you do not use a song from the show, it will result in a no-casting decision. There will not be an accompanist, so please come prepared with an electronic device with the tracking and time stamp. Upon entering the audition room, you will be asked to send it to our production team so we can play it over our audio system.  

Per our licensing agreement, pPerformers must be 18-25 years of age.

AUDITIONS:   Sunday September 22, 2024 

3PM-9PM 

CALLBACKS:  Tuesday October 1, 2024 

REHEARSALS:  Sundays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays starting the week of 10/13 

PERFORMANCES:  February 13-February 23, 2025 

James and Gloria Maron Cultural Arts Center - MJDC Dance Studio (last building on the right) 208 King Philip Street (Next door to the Academy Players theater).

 Please pick a song from the audition packet and prepare at least 32 bars. All auditions must be memorized (no exceptions) and sung with a YouTube backing track as there is no accompanist. There will be a group dance call after every 10 auditioners. Please plan to stay for a bit after your vocal audition. 

15-Adult (limited ensemble roles for ages 13-14).

AUDITIONS:   October 27, 2024  

REHEARSALS:  Sunday, Monday & Wednesday evenings beginning in November 2024.

PERFORMANCES:  March 13-23, 2025
